Preity, Sush in DU

Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Imtiaz Ali, Minissha Lamba ... the list of ex-DU students in tinsel town is a pretty long one.

But it turns out that a couple of B-town celebs sought and obtained admission in DU after they became Bollywood A-listers. Preity Zinta apparently enrolled herself for a Bachelor’s degree in English at DU’s School of Open Learning (SOL) for the 2008-09 session, but withdrew her admission later and didn’t sit for the exams. Former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen enrolled herself for a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science in the 2007-08 academic session at SOL, but she also withdrew her admission later.

A source from SOL confirmed these facts. Imagine DU’s aspirational value – if they hadn’t withdrawn their admissions, technically, all DU freshers today would have had Preity and Sush as their seniors!
