Kangna dating director

Buzz is Kangna Ranaut and director Kunal Deshmukh are getting too close to comfort.

Sources reveal that Kangna and Kunal have been spending a lot of time in each other's company and have been spotted together many a times around town. Kangna and Kunal both hail from the Bhatt camp and Kunal had even approached Kangna for his film Jannat which eventually went to Sonal Chauhan, as Ranaut had date issues.

Kunal has assisted Mohit Suri during the making of Woh Lamhe which starred Kangna in the lead role. Deshmukh is now working on Tum Mile starring Emran Hashmi and Soha Ali Khan while Kangna has only just returned from a holiday in Italy. Both Kunal and Kangna have been trying to keep their relationship all hush- hush, considering her last relationship with Adhyayan Suman was a public ridicule along with the messy break-up.

When StarBoxOffice contacted Kunal Deshmukh, the director denied the rumours saying, “Its not true at all, we are not dating.” The two have maintained that they are just good friends as they have worked together in the past. He has even told the press that he was more friendly with her during Woh Lamhe but hasn’t been in much contact with her now. While Kangs, on the other hand, just wants to concentrate on her career.

Ex-boyfriend Aditya Pancholi had even began taking interest in her after Adhyayan, but Kangna has always maintained a cold distance from Pancholi after reports of him physically abusing her in the past. Our advice to Kangna is to stay clear of any relationships for the time being as the last thing she needs now is a real bad rebound! What say?

Kangna Ranaut very first trip to the Italy

Italian boys flirted with Kangna Ranaut, called her Princess and even proposed to her, on her very first trip to the country

Kangna Ranaut has just returned from a vacation to Italy. It was her first holiday to the country.

The actress was to shoot this fortnight for Balaji Motion Pictures' Once Upon A Time in Mumbai but the schedule got cancelled, leaving her with free time for 15 days at a stretch.

The actress travelled alone. She writes on her blog, "No assistants, colleagues, friends or family. Another first!" she goes on to say that she always wanted to go to Italy. She not only loved the warm Italians but also came away impressed with their culture, art, food, and "lyrical" language.

She is happy with her decision to travel alone, "I have never travelled alone. I always wondered if I could do it. I was delighted at my own contentment. I ate good food, visited beautiful places, threw coins in the fountains and made wishes. I fell in love with Michelange-lo's art, but Leonardo Da Vinci and Raphael, by far are my favourites. The 'Last Supper' is such an exquisite piece of art... I could look at it forever."

The Italian boys called her princess and proposed to her. They took her for a French girl. The light-eyed actress says, "I enjoyed the lighthearted and earnest flirting of young single Italian guys. And I was touched by people's easy helpfulness - strangers clicked pictures for me, attended to me at hotel receptions and called cabs for me, and helped me carry my bags." The actress felt connected to the people of the country in a spiritual way.

The actress was dazzled by Milan, "It is such a dream for any fashionista. It's no secret I love clothes.

Mein Barkha Dutt banna chahti hoon

After playing a series of disturbed and unstable characters, Kangna is set to play a path-breaking journalist in Mani Shankar’s next film.

Needless to say, her role has been inspired by Barkha Dutt, the most popular and fearless journalist of our times. Kangna plays a top reporter with a prominent news channel. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt and Irrfan Khan. They play government agents from different backgrounds that unite to raise Rs. 32,000 crores in two hours. Kangna has an author backed role in this male dominated film.

A source tells us, “Kangna is very excited about her new role. For the first time, she is playing a confident character who isn’t mentally or emotionally disturbed. Kangna will be chopping off her thick mane of curly hair for the role, to look like Barkha Dutt. She has a lot of stylist and designer friends whom she will consult for her look. She wants the role to be fresh and different. Preity Zinta’s hairstyle in Lakshya got her a lot of flak. Kangna doesn’t want any flak so she is paying attention to detail. She hopes Barkha will be proud of her performance as she is such an inspiration for many aspiring journalists.”

StarBoxOffice doesn't understand why she has to chop her hair because she cannot look like Barkha Dutt. Why not give it a new twist? There is more to Barkha Dutt than just short hair.

Mani Shankar has made films like December 16, Mukhbir, Tango Charlie and Rudraksh. All of them were panned and bombed at the BO. Sohail Maklai, who has produced films like Dus and Rudraksh, is financing this film too. Let us see how the talented trio of Irrfan, Sanjay and Kangna fare at the BO.

Kangana and Hrithik on chat show together

Post-Adhyayan she’s changed for the better

Contrary to the rumours that all is not well between Kangana and Hrithik Roshan, her co-star in Kites, the two will be shooting together for Farah Khan’s chat show, “Tere Mere Beech Mein”.

Kangana has now reconciled with the fact that she is the second lead in the movie.

“Kites” is basically a love story between Hrithik and Barbara and hence more publicity is being given to them. Kangana loves Hrithik as an actor and now she does not even have a problem with the senior Roshans.

Kangana has brought about a dramatic change in herself after her breakup with Adhyayan. She has devoted herself to Lord Krishna. She now has two sources of strength – her God and her family.

On the other hand, after leaving Kangana, Adhyayan has turned to another girl. She is not from the film industry but is Adhyayan’s childhood sweetheart. They are neighbours and the senior Sumans, who were against Kangana, are more than happy that Adhyayan and the girl have started seeing each other again.

I was tired of being depressed: Kangna

Goodbye Adhyayan Suman, farewell intense, brooding roles... Kangna Ranaut is presenting herself in a new avatar to Bollywood — that of the romantic comedienne.

She’s shooting her very first comedy — No Problem with Akshaye Khanna — and will take up another, Tannu Weds Mannu with R Madhavan, immediately after that. This image change couldn’t have come at a better time.

Yes, I am seeing a lot of changes recently, more positive than negative thankfully,” she said of her personal and professional life. Excited about doing comedy, Kangna said, “It’s taken so long for me to do what most conventional actresses start out doing — romance or romantic comedies. But better late than never. I was tired of being depressed, now it’s time to have some fun,” she said.

Admitting she’s not too funny a person in real life, despite having a humorous side, the sexy star said, “I am glad I did the intense kind of roles early on in my career. But now I am happy with the kind of films coming my way.” And that includes Once Upon A Time In Mumbai and the Hrithik Roshan-Barbara Mori-starrer Kites, amongst others. Does she feel left out considering the film is being promoted solely with these two stars? “I have done my job, the rest is the filmmakers’ call, they can market it in whatever way they want to,” she replied, adding, “at the end of the day, it’s only good performances that’ll stand out.”

Her break-up has not really left Kangna heart-broken and hurt, or the actress is not showing any signs of it. “It’ll take a lot more than these ups and downs in life to break me,” she said. “And it’s really not as if I am working to get over anything. Work’s keeping me busy for work’s sake, but yes, it’s keeping me distracted from pondering too much about the past. I know that love hurts sometimes, but I can never stop being in love.”

Kangna to wed…

News is Nikhil Advani’s next offering Tanu Weds Manu has found its female lead, the gorgeous Kangna Ranaut.

Nikhil had earlier offered the role to Shahana Goswami, who eventually turned it down. While R. Madhavan was confirmed as the main lead, the makers of the film were on the lookout for an actress to star with him and settled on Kangna, who supposedly loved the script upon hearing it.

After Kangna was unavailable for comment, her spokesperson told us that the actress had just landed in Mumbai from her shoot of Anees Bazmee’s No Problem in South Africa. The actress did not want to speak of the subject now as it was too soon to comment on the issue.

Produced by Anand L. Rai, being made under the Colour Yellow Pictures banner, the film is a love story, scheduled to go on the floors in the third week of September. The film is going to be shot in most portions in North India.

At the time being, Kangna is shooting for Milan Lutharia’s Once Upon a Time and Anees Bazmee’s No Problem and has Kites releasing by the end of the year.

Kangna and Madhavan together would be something to look out for indeed, but isn't Nikhil the same guy who came up with duds such as Salaam-e-Ishq and CC2C? Let's hope third time’s the charm!

Kangna was kind of lost in Delhi

Actress Kangna Ranaut has often said that Anurag Basu, the director of Gangster, taught her much of her craft, but the Himachali girl also spent a few months in Delhi.

Here, she modelled and took acting lessons from theatreperson Arvind Gaur. “It’s because of theatre that I’m so comfortable in films,” she says. “Arvind was very kind. I went to him and said, I’m going to Bombay, and I need a sort of crash course in acting. So, he taught me acting specially, just for an hour everyday,” she says. During her months in Delhi, Kangna says, she was “kind of lost. I didn’t know what I wanted to do, but at some points in life, you’re like a child in a candy shop. I was doing my own thing in Delhi, and then I felt like going to Mumbai, so I went,” she says.

And after that journey and the one in Bollywood, Kangna is readying for her next release, Raaz 2, which is a horror flick. “I don’t like to watch horror films, but people watch them for excitement,” she says.
