Michael Magic

Superstar's shows set for stunt spectacular

MICHAEL JACKSON has reportedly roped in magician pal DAVID COPPERFIELD to stage a series of explosive stunts for his London comeback shows.

The Thriller hitmaker is making a return to the stage in July with a 50-date run at the U.K. capital's O2 Arena for his This Is It tour.

And he's approached his good friend Copperfield to help him make the shows a stunt-filled spectacular.

Jackson has told his pal he wants a series of highwire routines and a levitation trick which will be the centrepiece of the show, according to British sources.

A source tells the publication, "Jacko and David have been close pals for years. Michael is a massive fan of magic and has been to see all the big illusionists in Vegas over the years.

"He has some very clear plans on what he wants the show to include and feels David is the man to help make them happen. It's not just about music for Michael, it's about the show.

"The levitation stunt will be something special."
