Katrina’s got the coveted title!
It’s a tag that very few have and most others would aspire for.
Rani Mukherji, who had shot to fame with Karan Johar’s Kuch Kuch Hota Hai , was once considered to be the ‘lucky mascot’.
Infact in every movie that Karan made she proved that the tag was apt. Recently, the tag has also been given to Vidya Balan. Whatever film Vidya went on to do — whether it was Guru, Eklavya, Lage Raho Munnabhai, Heyy Babyy or Bhool Bhulaiya — all went on to become box office hits.
And now, it’s the lovely Katrina Kaif who has joined the ‘lucky mascot’ bandwagon and she’s considered the newest ‘lucky mascot’ at the BO. Whether it’s trade analysts, filmmakers or even her male co-stars, they all feel that even if Kat doesn’t have a meaty role she certainly adds to the luck factor.
Last year, with four back-to-back hits — Partner, Apne, Namastey London and Welcome — Katrina proved to be lucky for all the filmmakers. Her new release Race is also doing great business at the BO, need we say more?
