Is this a copy of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s actual passport? This question is boggling the mind of every person who has seen a copy of the document on various Bollywood blogs on the Internet.

Could be authentic

The image of her passport seems to have most of the important information right. Issued in May 2006, the passport has her name as Aishwarya Rai suggesting it was taken before her marriage. Interestingly, her photo on the passport doesn’t seem to be a file shot, suggesting the document could very well be authentic.

Sources claim that leaking such private and confidential information as available on a passport is highly dangerous as the document can be misused for wrong purposes. “Most production houses have access to the passport and bank details of various actors.

They have assistants who look after the visa work and make sure everything is managed in time. It could be possible that one of the units Ash is working for, leaked her passport copies and posted it on the net.”
