DRONA might follow SARKAR RAAJ!

When Ramgopal Varma's Amitabh and Abhishek starrer, SARKAR, released in 2005, it reset the long-standing Bombay record (opening week) at the ticket window. Not only was it visually appealing and gripping, the shot taking, camera angles, performances and the treatment were vintage Ramu at work. No wonder then that the fans of RGV and Bachchan combo were shocked at the way the same pair performed in their last year's trade disaster, RAMGOPAL VARMA KI AAG. But then that is the name of the game and we can assure you that the last two years notwithstanding, Ramu may be down but definitely not out.

The reason for us saying that is his next project, the much-awaited sequel to SARKAR, this time with the three Bachchans, Amitabh, Abhishek and Aishwarya, SARKAR RAAJ, is carrying good reports. And the good news, as per the filmmaker himself is that SARKAR RAAJ (contrary to rumours) is likely to release either in the last week of May or during the first week of June, depending upon cricket matches, exams and other factors. And if that happens it will release before another Abhishek Bachchan starrer, DRONA, tentatively scheduled for August 15.

Party time for the fans of the hot 'n' happening Abhishek Bachchan!
