Bebo squawks at wee hour

Kareena insisted on hiring a dubbing studio at 3 am for an ad as she didn’t have time in the day

Kareena Kapoor is keeping things on an even keel, balancing Saif Ali Khan, her films, shows and endorsements. On March 17, she dubbed for an Emami ad in the wee hours of the morning as she was shooting for Main Aur Mrs Khanna in the day and dubbing for Golmaal Returns at night.

Tied up

Kareena’s secretary, Zahid Khan, confirms the arrangement. “Kareena has been completely tied up with her endorsements, the shooting of Main Aur Mrs Khanna and Golmaal Returns. Last week, she returned from a show in London.

When the dubbing for Emami came up on March 17, Bebo’s date diary was full. The Emami people wanted to take someone else for dubbing. Bebo could have agreed but she insisted that she would find time. She called me up and the only time we could find was at 3 am at night so she asked the Emami people to hire a studio. Kareena finally dubbed for the ad at Yash Raj Studios.”

All work

Zahid adds, “The brand was very happy at Kareena’s professional attitude. Though Kareena has had a very harrowing time with her shoots, shows and endorsements, she has always managed to find time for work. Kareena has seven big films lined up Tashan, Golmaal Returns, Main Aur Mrs Khanna, Kambakht Ishq, Karan Johar’s production directed by Rensil D Silva with Saif, Ashtavinayak’s film directed by Rumi Jaffery with John Abraham and a film with TV 18. She refuses at least three films every day.”
