Koena Mitra buys road bike, plans to use it often

Koena Mitra has just bought herself a Trek Madone 6.9 PRO road bike and plans to go biking with her friends at midnight.

The actress says, "I wanted to buy a BMW bicycle but apparently they are not safe for road trips. My bike is red, white and blue with big wheels and a completely carbon frame body. It's foldable and built for sturdy terrain so I can take it with me when I am travelling. I love bikes. People were sceptical when I bought it but I've always been into swimming and bike riding."

Koena says she has always had a passion for speed. "In Kolkata, I had two bikes till I had an accident and had to give them up. In Mumbai, I rode a Yamaha until a few years back. Today I have a collections of video games which include car racing and football simulations.

My collection includes all kinds of racing games from helicopters to cars, cycles and bikes. They all have to do with racing and I am good at it. I find more adventure playing video games and going biking than in games like badminton and tennis."

She adds, "All my male friends are into fitness and though I go gymming and swimming, I find yoga and spinning at the gym very boring. I would rather go out biking with my friends at midnight for coffee. There's less pollution then and I get to burn calories. Monday nights, I go to a hotel at Juhu as it's open till late but I never go out alone at night on my bike. I am a late-night person and always loved doing crazy things. Racing and biking at midnight or during the monsoon fits the bill."

Koena Mitra Plastic Surgery Disaster

Koena Mitra has gone into hiding these days. Not because the actress has no films to talk about but because she wants to avoid that one question that all want to know, and that is of her plastic surgery gone wrong. Despite many attempts by her manager and publicist, Koena refuses to attend events or parties and prefers to stay within the confines of her four walls at home.

The actress has undergone a couple of surgeries to rectify her nose but unfortunately, the results haven't been positive. In fact, the surgery has gone so bad that she is referred by many as the Michael Jackson of India. That's not all, the actress has also gone for silicon implants to enhance her twin assets besides rectifying her lips. Many also say that she has also got her eyebrows tattoed!

Though the actress has not admitted that, she did come out in the open and admit in print that she had gone for a nose job in spite of her mom warning her of the consequences. Koena had said, "It's a mistake on my part and those who plan to undergo such surgeries should stay away from it." But unfortunately, for the actress, the damage has already been done and she is paying a heavy price for it.

Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena 2.0 is ready to hit the big screen, here’s the first look!

Pritish Nandy Communications’ (PNC) Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena (2005) did respectable business and the makers decided not to give up on the project. Audiences will not be treated to the slick stylish thriller but this time in an new avatar: EKEH 2.0, an adult animation flick, the brainchild of Pritish Nandy.

The director of the original Suparn Verma has also scripted and directed the animated flick. Says Verma, “Making an animated film is a rush, it’s like making a movie without a budget. It’s all about the power of thought and how much one can incorporate in a scene visually.

The effects and the grandeur you will see in EKEH 2.0 will be out of this world. It looks like a $100 million Hollywood production”

“When we set out to make this film, I knew that I didn’t want to make a sequel to the original. This movie has the same characters and a few new ones but they all are doing things differently and are in a bigger game than the previous time.

Think of this flick as an upgraded version of any software you use. It has the same features but the look and feel is distinctive.”

His character has the same inner traits. In the last movie, he was merely a conman but in the new version, he has more motives then before. All the cons he pulls in this film are going to be totally different and original.

Koena’s role from the original has been changed a lot. She is going to be the surprise package of the film. All I say is that she is not playing the role of a psychiatrist.

Feroz Khan
He’s back in the film and is bigger and badder than ever before. We are planning to get the animated film dubbed by the original cast members.

Urmila Matondkar: "I'll be working on Holi-day. So no Holi for me."

Shabana Azmi: "It would be as usual an open house for friends and family for Holi at my parents' home in Janki Kutir. There will be a generous flow of non-toxic colours, gana-bajaana and khana…a long-standing tradition in our house as part of India's ganga-jumna tehzeeb.

Shefali Shah: "My husband Vipul and I will be having a get-together at home. We'll have close friends over. Lots of food, bhang, out-of-tune karaoke, dumb charade…and lots and lots of laughter.
