Aishwarya-Akshay rewind some more

They’ll perform a song paying tribute to Bollywood couples of the 70s in ‘Action Replayy’

Aishwarya Rai and Akshay Kumar’s movie ‘Action Replayy’ has a time-travel theme, and looks like director Vipul Shah is determined to add more and more elements from the 70s to it.

First there was the ‘Saturday Night Fever’ inspired song, where Ash and Akki will be moving a la John Travolta. And now it seems that the two will also perform a song paying tribute to famous Bollywood couples from the 70s. Think Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan, Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh, Dharmendra and Hema Malini, Shashi Kapoor and Parveen, and Rajesh Khanna and Mumtaz.

The song is composed by Pritam Chakraborty and the lyrics are "Nakhre nakhre nakhre, nakhre hain naatak re, nakhre nakhre nakhre tu peeche hi rakh re."

Apparently, the song will be in the typical 70s style, and have a mischievous tone to it. Well, it’s got Aishwarya paying tribute to her in-laws, Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan. Now if only she were shooting with hubby Abhishek Bachchan, the tribute would have been complete!
