Is Saif’s autobiography in the pipeline

Saif Ali Khan has an enchanting collection of candid photographs of himself and his co-stars which he intends to use for his personal biography or autobiography.

Joy Dutta is his friend and personal photographer. He clicks pictures of Saif and his co-stars on the sets of various films. These pictures find their way into albums and adorn the walls of Saif Ali Khan’s office and home in suburban Mumbai. Saif doesn’t want these photos to ever be published. All of them are in black and white.

About the photos that Saif has, “There is one of Akshaye Khanna playing chess and one of Vidya Balan from Parineeta. Saif’s most famous photograph however is the one of Kareena Kapoor in a sari. She looks like a retro goddess and Saif intends to get his favourite picture framed in silver. Along with playing the guitar and reading, photography is another passion of his. He often spends evenings with Joy discussing the latest developments in the field and they pore over magazines together,’’ informs our source.

He further adds, “Saif is well-read and well-spoken so he would make a good author. His Nawabi background and London education would definitely help him pen an interesting book. He will also use the services of the finest editor available. He is a very charming and eloquent guy with an intelligent appeal that is also sexy. It’s a brilliant combination and just like people lap up his interviews, they will want to read his autobiography because he is a versatile actor and a down-to-earth star. If Saif actually pens his autobiography, it will be a case of life imitating art as he played a cartoonist-cum-novelist in Hum Tum, for which he won a National Award.”

About his biography, we think one chapter will be dedicated to his family: parents and sisters. There will be a chapter called ‘Life before Kareena,’ another called, ‘Life after Kareena’ and finally, ‘Kareena.’ There will be one on his exes: Amrita Singh and Rosa Catalano. One on his passions: Kareena, music, photography, books and films. One chapter will tell the story ‘Life before Dil Chahta Hai’ and another of ‘Life after Dil Chahta Hai.’ An entire chapter will be dedicated to his Nawabi heritage, style icon status and of course, his biggest hit: Love Aaj Kal. Then of course, there will be one about the future: marriage, films, productions and children. Saif, we are sure your autobiography will sell like hot cakes.
