Arnold ignores Bollywood

While Kambakkth Ishq was being shot in the US there were strong rumours that Arnold Schwarzenegger would be a part of the movie too.

However the rumours died a natural dead later. When we spoke to director Sabbir Khan about if they had indeed approached the ex Mr Universe turned Hollywood actor he admits that Arnold was indeed the first person that they had met.

“Arnold didn’t act in the movie but he has very courteous with us. He invited us to shoot in California and helped us in many ways as the Governor of California. We had actually met him as the Governor of California,” says Sabbir. “If you talk about credits, the first credit that you will see in the film will be a Thank You note to the Governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger. He has indeed been a great help,” adds the rookie director.

It would be asking for too much if the crew had asked the Terminator man to do a cameo in KI. What did Arnold tell Sabbir about working on his next biggie? "Astala vista baby!" No kidding!
