Lara gives credit to Akshay

Lara Dutta may be going on and on about her underwater stunts in Blue — well, there’s little else she’ll talk about, she’s always so mum when it comes to anything else — but the lass is now also giving due credit to co-actor Akshay Kumar for those deep sea acts.

Apparently, it was Akki who suggested her name for the movie! “Akshay was the one who recommended my name for Blue,” she confesses. Lara told us that she wasn’t too comfy diving 70 feet under water with sharks all around, but it was Akshay who pushed her to do it. “I got a call from Akshay.

He suggested that I take some swimming lessons before the starting of the film, and that if I wasn’t comfortable then I could well back out of the movie altogether. But then Akshay has a favourite dialogue that works wonders for me. He says, ‘Tum nahin toh aur kaun?’ That really gets me!” laughs Lara.
