Genelia was nervous walking the ramp

Genelia D’Souza walked the ramp for the first time recently at the Lakme Fashion Week for designer Manish Malhotra.

“It was Manish’s idea. I just couldn’t say no to him. When I was about to walk the ramp, I had butterflies in my stomach and was very nervous. Manish walked up to me and said that be yourself and don’t get nervous. Now considering I don’t walk the ramp everyday, I walked the ramp the way I generally walk – like an actress!”
