Dia's all for a cause!
Dia Mirza’s a busy girl these days.
And it’s not juggling between the hectic shooting schedules alone that’s keeping her occupied. The pretty actress who has almost seven films lined up this year including — Acid Factory, Alibaug, Arshad Warsi’s home production, Fruit N Nut, Kisaan and also a film with Amitabh Bachchan — is known to have a soft corner for several social issues.
But unlike several other celebrities, who choose to talk about it, Dia also puts the words in action, whether it’s helping out street children or promoting youth empowerment and good governance. Says Dia, “We as celebrities have great influence on the youth so we must try and use it positively. We are the society and I believe that if we want to change anything about it, than instead of talking, we should try and be that change. Even a small step collectively goes a long way.” Well, now whoever thinks that beauty queens only talk about social issues when vying for the crown should take a dekho at our beauty with a cause!
