Priyanka the busiest actress in Bollywood

Priyanka Chopra had six releases in 2008: Dostana, Fashion, Drona, Love Story 2050, God Tussi Great Ho and Chamku and she shot for them round the clock. She also shot for Vishal Bhardwaj's Kaminay opposite Shahid Kapur. The lovely leading lady hasn't taken a holiday in months. If she isn't shooting, she is busy promoting her films and endorsing products. In fact, she was so pressed for time that at the Star Screen Awards, some last minute stitching had to done on her gown while she was backstage.

At the Star Screen Awards, Priyanka's Desi Girl, Jaane Kyun and Fashion performance was a huge hit. She performed in a blingy black and pink outfit and obviously had to change into something formal for the event. So with her army of assistants she went into her van. After her hair and make up was done and she had changed into a gown, she stepped out and went backstage. Whilst she was there, she realized her gown wasn't fitting well and was a bit revealing for her comfort. So one of her assistants ran to the van and came back with red thread. She neatly stitched the fabric on the sides and the front to tighten the gown in a few minutes. Then Arjun came and Priyanka greeted him. She was too nervous and old him, "I have forgotten everything, and I am just going to follow you!" She then practiced her moves and calmed her nerves by bonding with Mugdha Godse and Bipasha Basu. Then she went on to the stage, did her steps with a little less energy and came back.

She was also heard saying "I have a 7 am shoot tomorrow and I am dreading to go on the sets." After the Star Screen Awards held in Bandra Kurla Complex wrapped up, Priyanka and her father went to the Lions Gold Awards in Vile Parle around midnight where Priyanka picked up award at left after 12.30 A.M.

Priyanka's releases this year are Vishal Bhardwaj's Kaminay with Shahid Kapoor and Ashutosh Gowariker's 'What's Your Rashee?' with Harman Baweja. She has also been pegged to make a clean sweep at the awards this year because no other performance compares to her powerful and layered portrayal as model Meghna Mathur in Fashion.
