Big B brings back DON, KAALIA nostalgia

Amitabh Bachchan is all set to enthrall his fans across the globe all over again with his acts from DON, KAALIA, SILSILA and BOMBAY TO GOA. In soon-to-begin Bachchans Unforgettable Tour, he would be heard rendering songs from each of his aforementioned films. What makes the performance special is the fact that he would be singing it along with a LIVE band instead of pre-recorded arrangements.

Confirms Vishal Dadlani of the Vishal-Shekhar duo who are the only composers to be a part of the tour, "Mr. Bachchan's energy continues to amaze us with every passing month ever since we have been working together. He would be rendering the tracks 'Main Hoon Don' [DON], 'Jahaan Teri Ye Nazar Hai' [KAALIA], 'Rang Barse' [SILSILA] and 'Dekha Naa Hai Re Socha Na ' [BOMBAY TO GOA] amongst other chartbusters for this tour."

Vishal narrates an interesting incident. "He told us that he wanted to rehearse with us at our studio before getting ready for the live performance which is now just a few days away. He was with us for hours at stretch and we also recorded his voice as he was rehearsing. Really, today he sounds even better than what he used to be 20-30 years back. It was simply phenomenal the way he went about his job and seemed so excited about getting it all perfect."

"We just recorded his voice in a CD while he was rehearsing and I can say that it is just priceless", Vishal continues in sheer awe, "I guess he himself has stopped thinking about the fact that he is a 64 year old man. We may get tired and not have the same kind of energy day in and night out but Mr. Bachchan is unstoppable."

Beginning on 15th July, the tour would have Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as the major highlights. They would be performing on their individual hits ranging from 'Kajra Re' [BUNTY AUR BABLI] and also 'Ek Main Aur Ek Tu Hai' [Bluffmaster]. Apart from that, songs from other Vishal Shekhar films like OM SHANTI OM, TASHAN as well as BHOOTHNATH would be included as a part of the performances.
