Worthy comeback for Mahima after 2 years

More than two years after she starred in an A grade project i.e. HOME DELIVERY (2005), Mahima Chaudhary would be seen in a worthy movie as her HOME AND A LITTLE SUGAR sees a theatrical release.

In between Mahima was seen in films like SOUTEN and MR. 100% - THE REAL PLAYER but these are hardly the kind of films she would be proud to find a mention in her repertoire. In the meanwhile some of her long stuck films like SANDWICH, KUDIYON KA HAI ZAMAANA and SARHAD PAAR too finally came out of the cans but expectedly each of them flopped at the box office.

Now arrives an English/Hindi film, HOPE AND A LITTLE SUGAR, which is set in New York in the weeks before and after 9/11. Directed by Tanuja Chandra, the film promises to be a poignant tale of love set against the forces of hate and intolerance centers on the romance between an aspiring Muslim photographer (Amit Sial) and a young Sikh woman (Mahima Chaudhary).

Some of Mahima's other stuck films waiting to see a theatrical release are GUMNAAM - THE UNKNOWN (Dino Morea), MASTANA (Govinda), SSIMRAN (Aryan Vaid), KAHANI - A UNIQUE STORY (Sahil Khan) and PANCCHI (Manoj Bajpai).
