Kunal Khemu continues shooting despite high fever

Kunal Khemu is a thorough professional. He was shooting in Goa for his forthcoming underproduction film Jai Veeru when he fell ill. But knowing his dedication, people were not really surprised when inspite of very high fever, Kunal turned up for the shoot. He shot without cribbing.

"My fever was bad and I was definitely reeling under severe headache but I could not hold up the shoot for it. When there is a multi starrer, one need to have more understanding because other artiste's dates need to be coordinated. It is not easy. There were other artistes, location details, technicians, how could I let others suffer due to something that could be handled with medicines! Producers would have suffered losses. It's really nothing," shrugged Kunal. Since these were all action scenes, he required to shoot in hot sun, which aggravated the sickness. As a result, Kunal had to be hospitalized on his return to Mumbai because the illness became severe. Now the shoot sequence of a song in Bangkok with actress Anjana Sukhani is put on hold.

As for his director Puneet Sira (of I Proud To Be An Indian fame), he is extremely grateful because inspite of having very high fever, bad headache and giddy feeling Kunal continued to work. Not only this, the fever continued for two days, which meant he had to be shooting for that many extra days with high fever. He is all praises for Kunal. As for Kunal, he is advised complete bed rest by his doctor and is forced to recoup at home for at least for 10 days.
