Shiney endorses an international Vodka brand

Shiney Ahuja has successfully managed to carve a niche for himself in Bollywood. The actor was lately in news for allegedly demanding a whooping amount of money post GANGSTER. His forthcoming films include Sudhir Mishra’s KHOYA KHOYA CHAND (earlier titled BAHUT NIKLE MERE ARMAAN), Anurag Basu’s METRO and Priyadarshan’s CHANDRAMUKHI.

As per reports in a daily, he has been roped in as the brand ambassador for the vodka drink ‘Shark Tooth’ (from the house of Diageo) in India. It is the latest offering from the house of Diageo, available in two variants - Shark Tooth and Shark Tooth Extra. This happens to be Shiney’s first endorsement. He has tasted the liquor and says it represents independence and free will. He also drinks occasionally, he informed the daily.

‘Shark Tooth’ is made from 100% grain neutral spirit and has been developed with support from Diageo's global innovation centre in London especially for the Indian market, Asif Adil, managing director of Diageo - India & South Asia is quoted in an interview.

Moreover Diageo India claims to control 80% of the premium scotch market with its brand ‘Johnnie Walker’ and 90% of the premium vodka segment with its ‘Smirnoff brand’. It also plans to come up with other such India-specific brands and take them across the world.
