Amitabh Bachchan watched Farhan Akhtar's ‘Don' and he loved the film very much, as per reports pouring in. Two days prior to its official release, a special screening was arranged at the Yash Raj Studios in Andheri to show the film to the old don besides other celebrities and after the show Big B however didn't hide his happiness. Director Farhan Akhtar said, “He loved the new film and he loved the way it has been made.”
The new ‘Don' starring Shah Rukh Khan as Don not only gave him immense pleasure, but also reminded him the time when the earlier ‘Don' was being filmed.
During the interval, Bachchan described to Farhan the first day of the shooting in July 1974 at the Mehboob Studios.
“It was ‘ Yeh mera dil' song that I shot with Helenji, and with that the film's shooting started.” Bachchan recounted, then he was all of 32 and Helenji was 40. “But the way she danced ….,” Bachchan glowed with unspoken glitter.
Shah Rukh Khan was also present at the special screening. “He was looking sinfully good,” said a source.
