‘Jaaneman’ to be screened at New York film fest!

Bollywood is going global. With international audiences warming up to its charm and glitz, tow Indian films have been selected as the opening and closing entries at the prestigious South Asian International Film Festival, begun in New York from yesterday.
Director Tanuja Chandra's ‘Hope And A Little Sugar', set in the backdrop of 9/11, has been screened on the opening day, while Shirish Kunder's ‘Jaaneman' starring Salman Khan and Preity Zinta, will be screened as the closing entry of the five-day annual event.
Actor Anupam Kher, who features in both the films, expressed happiness for the “honor”, saying “it is rare that an international festival opens and closes with Indian films.”
